Rev. Dr. Eugene Grimm began his ministry in 1967. The first 21 years of his ministry was as a parish pastor. In 1988, he was called to serve the national church as a stewardship consultant, working with over 500 congregations throughout Ohio. During those years, he conducted stewardship seminars in over 38 states and in Ontario, Canada. That role was in part to help people discover the joy of giving. In 2009, Gene and his wife Margie, moved to Prescott, AZ. In 2011, Gene joined the Arizona Rangers.  In 2020, he was tapped as the first Ranger in Lonesome Valley Company to become a Lifetime Ranger with the rank of First Lieutenant.  From the completion of his probationary period, he was tapped to become one of the chaplains of the company. He also served as Internal Affairs Officer for the company. In 2013, Gene became an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. Later he was also certified as a Chief Range Safety Officer. He served on the Range cadre since that point. In addition to running the AZPost for numerous Rangers, he has taught classes in the Phoenix area. At the age of 75, he decided to go back to school and become a gunsmith. I joined with The American Gunsmithing Institute. It has been very rewarding. He and his son Dave formed High Chaparral Gunsmithing with locations in Prescott and Mesa, AZ. In January of 2021, Gene and his friend and colleague Dan Storvick began serving Mountain Reformed Church in Prescott Valley. What a joy it has been to serve MRC. Our time together has been one of Gene’s most rewarding experiences as a pastor. Thank you, MRC for the love and support you have given us.

Born into the home of a Lutheran Pastor, Daniel Alfred Storvick has known parsonage and parish life from infancy. He arrived on Epiphany Day, January 6, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. When he was three, Storvick’s father accepted a Call to be the founding pastor of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Lakewood, California, which is where he spent all his school years, graduating from Lakewood High School in 1965. Undergraduate studies took him through California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, majoring in Speech Communication. While there, thanks to the prayers of his parents and the influence of strong Christian friends, Storvick decided to enter seminary. During those same years, he courted and eventually married Louise Ann Litschke, whom he had met at a church youth group. After four years of seminary studies (including one year of internship in Beaverton, Oregon), the nascent pastor received his M.Div. degree and a call to serve as Assistant (later Associate) Pastor of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Granada Hills, California. Three years later (1976) God called him on to pastor Messiah Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda, CA. God’s hand, growth, and great people made it a very fruitful and satisfying pastorate. During those years God blessed Dan and Louise with three children: Jonathan in 1979, Michael in 1981, and Anna in 1985. American Lutheran Church in Prescott, AZ, invited him to become their Sr. Pastor in 1988. The years at ALC were filled with growth (church and personal), an earned Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Seminary, and ministry experiences that rivaled those of Messiah in terms of both challenges and joy. During those years he was involved in church and community leadership, including the startup of a new church in neighboring Prescott Valley. founding board member of Young Life of Prescott, establishment of The Rock (a youth ministry outreach house across the street from local high school), and a member of the boards of directors of several church, community, government, and nonprofit organizations (including Dignity Yavapai Regional Medical Center. Prescott Frontier Rotary, and YMCA among them). Since retirement Storvick has served as Interim and Supply Pastor at various small congregations in AZ and MN. His hobbies include cooking, furniture restoration, camping, photography, and hunting ... and traveling to California to visit two of his three children and his three youngest granddaughters.

Rev. Andrew P. Martinez has served in pastoral ministry for more than forty years, guiding congregations to grow in faith, community, and joyful worship. From the beginning of his call, inspired by Romans 15:18–21, he has sought to proclaim Christ “where He has not been named,” helping churches become vibrant communities centered on God’s grace.

Since 2019, Andrew has been Pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Covina, leading the congregation in spiritual renewal, rich worship, and shared mission. Under his leadership, the church has blossomed into a multi-lingual, multi-congregational fellowship, strengthened through prayer, small groups, and a flourishing music ministry.

Andrew and his wife have also served with Orbis Ministries in Australia, equipping and encouraging churches in Kingdom ministry. His previous pastorates in North Carolina, Missouri, Michigan, and Texas reflect a consistent heart for renewal, outreach, and faithful leadership.

He holds Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, with additional studies in church growth, discipleship, and missional leadership.

Andrew’s gifts for preaching, teaching, and encouragement flow from a deep compassion for people and a love of seeing lives transformed by Christ. Outside of ministry, he enjoys cycling, reading, exploring the outdoors, and good conversation with friends old and new.
